Director of Physical Therapy Job OverviewAn outpatient physical therapy office in Winchester, VA is hiring a Director of Physical Therapy to oversee clinical services, patient care delivery, and daily clinic operations. This is a full-time role with a Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule and annual pay ranging from
$90,000-$120,000.
This role is designed for a Physical Therapist who can lead with clinical experience, manage staff needs, and help ensure patients receive organized, effective rehabilitation care.
What This Position Covers- Direct outpatient therapy services and clinical workflows
- Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans
- Provide physical therapy care for pain, injury, surgery recovery, and functional limitations
- Supervise clinical staff and assist with team development
- Review documentation, progress notes, and plans of care
- Maintain compliance with professional, payer, and clinic standards
- Coordinate with providers, referral sources, and care partners
- Support patient experience, clinic organization, and operational goals
Requirements- Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain one
- Outpatient physical therapy experience required
- Previous director, manager, or lead clinician experience preferred
- Strong understanding of clinical documentation and outpatient rehab standards
- Ability to lead people, manage priorities, and maintain care quality
