Director of Physical Therapy A Role for an Experienced PT LeaderThis full-time Director of Physical Therapy position is based in Berryville, VA and offers an annual salary range of
$90,000-$120,000. The schedule is
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.
The clinic is looking for a Physical Therapist who can manage the responsibilities that come with leading outpatient care: treating patients, supporting staff, reviewing documentation, coordinating care, and keeping the clinic aligned with professional standards.
Responsibilities- Oversee clinical operations for an outpatient physical therapy office
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized therapy plans
- Treat orthopedic, post-operative, sports-related, and mobility cases
- Provide staff guidance on care progression and clinical documentation
- Monitor patient outcomes and support quality improvement efforts
- Assist with daily clinic organization and team communication
- Ensure treatment records meet compliance and payer expectations
- Build strong working relationships with patients and healthcare providers
Requirements- Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain one
- Outpatient physical therapy experience required
- Previous director, manager, or lead clinician experience preferred
- Strong understanding of clinical documentation and outpatient rehab standards
- Ability to lead people, manage priorities, and maintain care quality
