Responsibilities

Our mission is to inspire everyone to ride ALSO-replacing many local car, truck and SUV miles with ones on vehicles that are more affordable, more enjoyable and 10-50x more efficient.

Also is looking for a Director of Physical Experiences to imagine and operate a physical ecosystem where customers can experience the brand, learn about and purchase products, and have their products serviced.

What You Will Do

Physical store and Mobile Experiences Strategy
  • Partner with product teams to understand TAM, target customer, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop an ecosystem based strategy for physical place that optimizes for retail distribution, brand awareness and CX measures, commercial growth, and profitability.
  • Partner with Director of Ecommerce to develop integrated omni-channel customer journeys that span physical and digital touch points.
  • Develop a mobile experience strategy compliments the digital and physical experience, to drive brand awareness, engage and convert customer leads and acquire new customers


Store Development
  • Lead the sourcing, development, and delivery of store experiences across a range of formats including:
    • Brand showrooms
    • Shop in shop in strategic partner stores and showrooms
    • Pop up in strategic partner stores
    • Mobile pop up for events and auxiliary commercial capacity
    • POP/display in partner retail designed to boost brand awareness.
  • Partner with product, brand, and marketing teams to ensure key stories are front and center to customer


Store & Fleet Operations
  • Lead day to day execution of the retail business and mobile experiences fleet, managing sales, customer experience, service delivery, and inventory.


'Pop up' Operations
  • Lead the execution of delivery, implementation, and removal of pop up experiences, across multiple formats.
  • Lead the day to day operation of pop up experiences, whether through strategic partners, contractors, or Also employees.


Channel Business Management
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reporting on key KPIs the stores team is responsible for.
  • Participate in cross functional business reviews with Ecommerce, Marketing, Product, and Finance teams.
  • Partner with Customer Success and Ecommerce to continually refine omni-channel shopping journeys.


What You Will Bring
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in physical retail.
  • Demonstrated ownership of 8 figure P&Ls, with an emphasis on labor planning
  • Demonstrated experience in Real Estate sourcing, fixture development, and/or event management (strongly preferred).
  • Experience working across 3 or more disciplines among: Store Operations, Store Design, Store Development, Event or Mobile Operations, Omni-channel fulfillment, Product Service operations, or Customer Service Operations.
  • Strong people management and influencing skills, with the ability to inspire, develop and lead strategic partners, contractors, and internal employees.

The salary for this position ranges from $125,000 to $175,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
