Full Job Description
Description

Pharmacy Director is responsible for planning, budgeting, directing, and supervising pharmacy activities and personnel, including managing new programs within the department and for the hospital. The individual will collaborate with members of the medical staff to ensure efficient utilization of designated resources for optimal patient care and will provide oversight of the pharmacy area as necessary to meet patient, client and staff needs. Maintains the pharmacy within established hospital and regulatory agency laws and Department of Public Health Regulations.

Requirements
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and MS or PharmD
• Minimum three to five years' experience of previous/administrative experience required
• Minimum one to three years' experience as a registered pharmacist in a hospital setting preferred
• Current state pharmacist license required Strong professional, organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team
• Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with physicians and various other hospital personnel
• Demonstrated fiscal accountability and ability to achieve outcomes within allocated resources
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and make independent decisions under pressure.
