Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy, Pharm.D. preferred.
  • MBA/MS or equivalent education/experience preferred.
  • Current State Certification/Licensure as required.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in hospital pharmacy is desirable.
  • CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee pharmacy functions for two new facilities.
  • Communicate clinical criteria and managed care requirements.
  • Complete pre and re-certifications for services.
  • Actively share updates on authorizations with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Ensure timely completion of appeals and documentation requirements.
  • Interface with managed care organizations for compliance and updates.
  • Conduct peer-to-peer reviews with physicians.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position will oversee all pharmacy functions for Centra Rehabilitation Hospital, a 50-bed facility opening in summer of 2026.

Schedule: Full Time, Days

  • Demonstrates administrative responsibilities related to daily operations management.

  • Develops goals, objectives, policies and procedures for departmental operation

  • Works to improve services provided and assure compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Keeps leadership informed of operational activities, needs and problems.

  • Drives installation and implementation of new services, procedures and pharmacy automation products.

  • Fosters teamwork throughout the organization.
