Description
Director of People Operations
This role is a great fit for you if:
• You believe HR should empower managers, not be their go-to for answers, by teaching them how to manage effectively, make great decisions, hire top talent, and drive high performance.
• You are a proven driver of change with a track record of implementing meaningful transformations.
• You have demonstrated leadership experience overseeing HR teams, with direct management of these types of roles:
o Payroll & Benefits Manager
o HR Generalist
o Recruiter
• You excel in employee development, crafting and executing plans that enhance success at all levels of the organization.
• You are passionate about aligning HR with business strategy and growth, and you lead your team with that same vision.
• You are enthusiastic about continuous improvement, always seeking greater efficiencies and better processes, even when things are "good enough."
• You understand processes and procedures and can operate effectively at both a high level and "in the weeds."
This role is NOT for you if:
• You are a traditional HR leader who believes HR should be the decision-maker across the company in all employee-related matters.
• You prefer following pre-established paths and repeating solutions rather than innovating.
• You become easily frustrated by the slow pace of meaningful cultural change.
• You prefer clear, defined structures and feel uncomfortable navigating ambiguity.
• You don't want to participate in the day-to-day and only direct others. This will be a hands-on position coupled with leadership.
