Director of People and Culture on a permanent basis to work onsite at our Business Support Centre in

What you'll do:- As a member of the senior leadership team, the Director of People and Culture will partner with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and other organizational leaders for planning and decision making, including the creation of HR-specific initiatives.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the People and Culture team, ensuring alignment with organizational values, vision, and business objectives.
- Develop and implement HR programs, policies, and workforce strategies by monitoring industry, economic, and organizational trends.
- Build strong partnerships across departments and the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) to address complex people-related issues and drive organizational initiatives.
- Lead labour relations activities, including collective bargaining, grievance management, arbitration preparation, and maintaining positive union relationships.
- Oversee talent management, change initiatives, departmental planning, budgeting, and leadership development through coaching, mentoring, and stakeholder presentations.
Who you'll work with:The Team: You will work closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership team, and have 6 direct reports in People and Culture, Payroll and Talent Acquisition on a team that strives for a culture of community, strong communication, and positivity.

Who you are: You are looking for a career in Human Resources and:
- Have 10+ years of human resources experience, with 5+ years at a management level.
- Have a bachelor's degree in human resources, administration, or commerce (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Hold your Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation.
- Labour Relations and Collective Bargaining experience would be considered an asset.
- Worker's Compensation Board (WCB) experience would be considered an asset.
- You are honest and trustworthy.
