What You9ll Be Doing: 3 Serve as a role model and resource for nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members 3 Support staff in problem-solving and determining appropriate clinical interventions 3 Collaborate with the Administrator on hiring, orientation, retention, and performance management 3 Adhere to budget requirements for labor, pharmacy, DME, and medical supplies 3 Coordinate patient care with RN Case Managers and attending physicians 3 Review and manage patients receiving higher levels of care (respite, inpatient, continuous care) 3 Oversee clinical and management responsibilities for assigned teams 3 Serve as liaison between Administrator, clinical staff, patients, families, and community partners Qualifications: 3 Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a bachelor9s degree or higher in nursing or a related health field. 3 Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment. 3 Active CPR certification required; certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing preferred. 3 Must meet one of the following: 3 Bachelor9s degree or higher in nursing or a related health field and at least 2 years of full-time supervisory or managerial experience in a hospice or home health agency within the last 5 years 3 At least 4 years of full-time supervisory or managerial experience in a hospice or home health agency within the last 5 years 3 Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred; familiarity with WellSky is highly desirable. 3 Valid driver9s license with a clean driving record. 3 Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as needed. 3 Ability to lead bereavement support groups and make sound clinical decisions. 3 Flexibility to work outside regular hours based on patient needs.
