Position Summary
• Under the general direction of the Chief Financial Officer is responsible for managing the activities related to patient accounting, finance, and coding.

Required Qualifications
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Proof of highest level of education completed but not less than high school education or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience (gradual increase into supervisory responsibility over a period of three (3) years can be substituted).
• Prior chargemaster experience.
• Coding certification by either AAPC or AHIMA.
• Ability to operate a computer, 10-key calculator, electronic typewriter and other office equipment. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of MGRMC staff and support personnel.
• Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form.
• An understanding of computer systems, process design and data management.
• Must have a well-groomed, professional appearance.
• Must have the mental and physical ability to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, the essential functions of the job.
• Ability to lift, carry, pull, & push 50 pounds.
• Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency.

Preferred Qualifications
• Minimum of four (4) years hospital experience required, two (2) year hospital billing and two (2) year hospital coding.
• CPC-H certification.
• Previous Meditech experience or other related electronic records systems.
