POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Order Fulfillment provides enterprise leadership for demand, inventory, order, and delivery planning across White River Marine Group. This role connects sales forecasts, seasonal and promotional demand, production capacity, product availability, transportation, analytics, and digital lead fulfillment to improve customer service and business performance. The Director establishes the order fulfillment strategy, operating cadence, performance measures, and cross-functional accountability required to deliver the right product, at the right time, through the right channel. This role collaborates extensively with Tracker Marine Boating Centers, Bass Pro Shops, and the Independent Dealer Network to align demand, inventory, fulfillment priorities, and customer commitments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Develops and leads the enterprise order fulfillment strategy, aligning sales forecasts, product assortment, inventory, production capacity, engine requirements, transportation, and financial objectives across channels and locations.

• Leads the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process by establishing a disciplined planning cadence, resolving supply and demand gaps, and translating forecasts into actionable production, inventory, and order plans.

• Collaborates on seasonal, promotional, event, and Club planning to ensure appropriate product breadth, depth, and availability for major selling periods and customer commitments.

• Owns end-to-end order fulfillment performance from order receipt through delivery, establishing service-level expectations, identifying constraints, and driving improvements in order-to-ship and ship-to-delivery cycle time.

• Establishes inventory and stocking strategies by model and location, including management of assortment requirements, stocking boat configurations, aging inventory, and current and non-current sell-through projections.

• Builds analytics, business intelligence, and executive reporting capabilities, including Power BI dashboards, market and category insights, forecast accuracy, service levels, backlog, inventory health, and financial projections.

• Leads cross-functional governance and continuous improvement across Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Transportation, Finance, and Digital teams, collaborating extensively with Tracker Marine Boating Centers, Bass Pro Shops, and the Independent Dealer Network to align priorities, resolve constraints, and deliver a consistent customer experience; develops the organization, capabilities, and accountability needed to execute the strategy.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
  • Preferred Degree: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field
  • Certificate(s) or License(s): APICS CPIM/CSCP, ASCM, Lean Six Sigma, or comparable certification preferred
  • Years of experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in order fulfillment, supply chain, SIOP, operations planning, inventory management, or a related discipline, including 5+ years leading leaders or complex cross-functional teams

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
• Demonstrated ability to create strategy, translate it into operating plans, and deliver measurable results across a complex, multi-site business.
• Advanced knowledge of demand planning, SIOP, inventory optimization, production planning, order management, logistics, and customer service.
• Strong business and financial acumen, including the ability to evaluate tradeoffs among service, working capital, capacity, cost, and margin.
• Proven ability to lead through influence and build alignment across senior leaders and functions with competing priorities.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using ERP, planning, CRM, and business intelligence tools, including Power BI or comparable platforms.
• Ability to establish meaningful key performance indicators, governance routines, and accountability mechanisms that improve execution.
• Executive-level communication, change leadership, talent development, and presentation skills.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
•    Minimal travel required to support White River Marine Group locations, business partners, planning activities, and key customer or promotional events.
