About the position...

The Director of Operations will be responsible for providing companywide operational leadership in support of Triple Crown Corporation's growth initiatives and Strategic Growth Plan. Working closely with the Executive Team and department leaders, this position helps translate organizational goals into effective operational strategies and practices. The Director provides insight and recommendations related to operations, organizational effectiveness, financial performance, and risk, while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen collaboration, and support the company's continued growth and long-term success.
  • Partner with the Executive Team to develop, communicate, and execute company strategy and operational initiatives, providing insight into business performance, opportunities, and key operational challenges.
  • Provide overall leadership and oversight of company operations, ensuring policies, procedures, and operational practices are consistently implemented and aligned with organizational goals and values.
  • Drive execution of the company's Strategic Growth Plan, establishing accountability across departments and ensuring initiatives and objectives are consistently advanced throughout the organization.
  • Evaluate and improve business processes and systems to increase efficiency, productivity, quality, and profitability, ensuring critical processes are documented, maintained, communicated, and effectively implemented.
  • Monitor operational and financial performance, partnering with leadership to review budgets, financial reports, and key performance indicators and make informed operational adjustments that support the company's financial objectives.
  • Lead and develop department leaders, establishing clear expectations and accountability, conducting regular performance reviews and Key Result Area (KRA) meetings, and providing coaching, feedback, and support to strengthen leadership capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with the General Managers of Construction and Property Management to address operational challenges, support departmental initiatives, and ensure consistent execution of company objectives across both divisions.
  • Oversee companywide risk management, safety, and compliance initiatives, partnering with department leaders and committees to promote a safe, compliant, and risk-conscious workplace and business environment.
  • Champion employee engagement and organizational development in partnership with Human Resources, supporting effective recruiting, retention, recognition, performance management, training, employee feedback, and succession planning.
  • Oversee technology and business systems strategy, partnering with the CFO, IT, and functional leaders to ensure technology investments and systems support operational effectiveness, security, and the company's long-term objectives.
  • Champion the customer experience and company brand, ensuring operational practices support high levels of customer satisfaction, while partnering with Marketing to maintain consistent, accurate, and effective company messaging.
  • Promote and reinforce the company's People, Quality, Value culture, ensuring employees understand and align their actions and conduct with the company's strategic objectives, values, and expectations.


Requirements

What we are looking for from you...
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience working in a Senior Operations role
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working in a management or leadership role
  • Experience in the Real Estate and/or Property Management industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or related field is required
  • Professional certifications in personnel and/or management operations are highly valued
  • Leadership training such as decision making, corporate governance, change management, negotiation, strategic leadership, and business analysis are highly valued
  • Leads by example and sets a positive tone throughout the organization, confidently managing relationships with employees, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders while balancing diverse needs and priorities
  • Excellent leadership, management, customer service and communication skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and comfortable using mobile devices
  • Proficient in Yardi or other Property Management software is highly valued
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
