Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Director of our Occupational Health Program to lead the development, implementation, and ongoing success. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing program operations, coordinating patient care, supporting provider education, and building strong relationships with employers and community partners throughout the Omaha and Lincoln areas.

The Occupational Health Program Director plays a key role in advancing excellence in customer service, clinical quality, financial performance, and organizational growth while ensuring exceptional care for occupational health patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, maintain, and evaluate the Occupational Health Program to ensure high-quality patient care and service excellence.
  • Coordinate and oversee the care of patients participating in the Occupational Health Program.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for providers regarding occupational health services and best practices.
  • Perform Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) and other occupational health testing as needed.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise provider staff on occupational health policies, procedures, and program initiatives.
  • Assess client and employer needs and design occupational health services to meet those needs.
  • Identify new partnership opportunities and strengthen relationships with employers, attorneys, case managers, physicians, and other referral sources in the Omaha and Lincoln communities.
  • Complete special projects and assignments as requested.
  • Support the organization's commitment to outstanding customer service, quality care, financial responsibility, and continued growth.

Requirements

Requirements

Licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or other licensed healthcare provider through the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred:

Experience in occupational health program development.

Marketing and business development experience.

Previous supervisory experience in physical therapy or healthcare settings.
