Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures in the Nursing Department.
  • Work closely with the Nursing Home Administrator to achieve Nursing Department objectives.
  • Evaluate nursing staff performance and provide necessary training.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with residents, families, and care teams.

Salary: $104,000/Annually - Salary is Negotiable (Employees will receive 5% below the negotiated pay rate during their probationary status.)

Responsible To: Nursing Home Administrator

Summary: This position will accomplish the Nursing Department's objectives by planning, organizing and supervising all functions required to ensure the highest quality of nursing care to all AJRCCC residents. Ensure Nursing Department operates in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Continuation of this position is contingent upon funding allocations.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants please clearly state how you meet these qualifications on the application/resume.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; or an Associate's Degree w/five (5) years of current work experience in a long-term care facility as a professional nurse and five (5) years current supervisory experience in nursing service administration in a long-term care facility.
  • Must possess a Wisconsin State license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Must have three (3) years of current working knowledge of MDS, Medicare and Medicaid assessment 3.0.
  • Must have three (3) years of current experience scheduling and submitting MDS Medicare and Medicaid assessment 3.0.
