Compensation: Based on Experience
DEFINITION:
Formulates and oversees development and implementation of nursing care for patients by
assessment, nursing diagnosis, patient care plans. Provides leadership by working cooperatively
with ancillary, nursing and other patient care personnel in maintaining standards for professional
nursing practice in the clinical setting. Develops systems to provide safe care to a population
including infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. Responsible for the oversight or
coverage of the operation and management of all departments under their supervision.
Participates in director level decision making for the organization. To include but not limited to
daily nursing operations, staffing, throughput, quality initiatives, FTE management, agency
management, etc.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE):
Authorized to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oklahoma
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state(s).
Progressive nursing leadership experience, including experience managing nursing operations.
Nursing operations across multiple departments, campuses, or facilities.
Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, nursing practice, quality improvement, regulatory
compliance, and workforce management.
Demonstrated ability to analyze operational and financial data and translate findings into
actionable strategies.
Strong communication skills
