Director of Nursing (DON)Golden Merced Care CenterWhat You'll Be Doing:- Lead and oversee all nursing operations, ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care
- Hire, train, and support a strong nursing team (RNs, LVNs, CNAs) focused on compassion and clinical excellence
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Create care plans, conduct assessments, and monitor outcomes to enhance resident quality of life
- Partner with the Executive Director and interdisciplinary team to improve systems, staffing, and care delivery
- Mentor and inspire staff while holding the team accountable to the highest standards
- Stay current on clinical trends through ongoing education and training
What We're Looking For:- Active RN license in California (in good standing)
- 2+ years of experience in geriatric or long-term care nursing
- 2+ years of nursing leadership experience
- Strong background in training, scheduling, and staff development
- Knowledge of MDS, CMS regulations, and state/federal survey process (preferred)
- Passion for making a difference in residents' lives every day
