Qualifications

• Registered Nurse License required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct nursing services in the facility.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records related to resident care.
• Oversee orientation and training of nursing personnel.
• Manage nursing department budgets effectively.
• Develop and update nursing policies and procedures.
• Contribute recommendations to the Administrator on nursing operations.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident care services.
• Complete administrative paperwork including forms and evaluations.
• Monitor survey reports and assist in corrective action plans.
• Attend various facility committees as appointed.
• Assess staffing needs for nursing department.
• Participate in recruitment and selection of nursing personnel.
• Organize work assignments and scheduling of nursing staff.
