Job Summary and Qualifications

  • You will be responsible for the overall nursing and administrative leadership of the Hospital's 72-bed NICU and directly responsible for its day-to-day clinical and continuum of care, quality and operations
  • You will be responsible for holding the neonatal line accountable for standards of patient care and performance and implementation of HCA's neonatal and perinatal measures and work in close partnership with the Medical Director of the NICU
  • You will directly manage and supervise the NICU and and drive HCA's perinatal and neonatal measures and initiatives at Sunrise Children's Hospital
  • You will participate in strategic planning for service line growth with the COO and Director of Physician Services for Women and Children's Services

What qualifications you will need:

  • Masters in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or Business Administration required. BSN required
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada
  • Five years recent leadership experience in NICUs required; three years experience in maternal services preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate, and/or lead large, diverse, multidisciplinary teams; history of successful change implementation, demonstrated strong interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to interact productively with all levels of personnel and staff required
