Full Job Description
The Opportunity

The Director of National Accounts is a high-impact sales leader responsible for growing revenue and strengthening relationships with key national and large-market accounts for the iconic Omni Parker House.

This is a relationship-driven, strategic sales role for someone who thrives on the pursuit of new business, knows how to turn relationships into revenue, and can see the bigger picture beyond a single booking. You'll build and execute account strategies, cultivate long-term partnerships, identify opportunities within existing accounts, and position Omni Parker House as a preferred destination for corporate, group, meetings, events, and high-value business.

Working closely with Sales, Catering, Conference Services, Reservations, Revenue Management, and Marketing, you'll bring opportunities to life from the initial prospecting conversation through contract negotiation and execution.

The goal is simple: grow the business, grow the accounts, and make Parker House the hotel of choice for our most valuable customers.

What You'll Do

Drive Revenue & New Business
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans focused on growing national and large-market accounts and maximizing hotel revenue.
  • Proactively prospect, identify, and convert new business opportunities across rooms, meetings, food & beverage, events, and other hotel services.
  • Build account strategies that uncover opportunities for increased market share, repeat business, and long-term partnership.
  • Own and exceed individual revenue, production, prospecting, and account-development goals.
  • Identify opportunities to capitalize on events, market trends, and emerging business segments.
  • Partner with Revenue Management and Sales leadership to strategically position rates, availability, and value propositions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Omni Global Sales Organization (GSO) team to identify, pursue, and secure business, leveraging shared account intelligence and relationships

Build & Elevate Client Relationships
  • Develop trusted, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, meeting planners, corporate partners, and industry influencers.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to accounts-understanding their business, anticipating their needs, and creating solutions that deliver value.
  • Maintain consistent, meaningful communication with key accounts and actively pursue opportunities to expand the relationship.
  • Conduct client appointments, presentations, site visits, entertainment, and account reviews that strengthen partnerships and drive production.
  • Create compelling proposals and presentations tailored to each client's objectives, budget, and business needs.

Own the Sales Process
  • Lead opportunities from prospecting through negotiation, contracting, and turnover to the appropriate hotel teams.
  • Negotiate and review contracts in accordance with hotel policies, pricing strategies, and profitability guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Catering, Conference Services, Reservations, Revenue Management, and Operations to ensure a seamless transition from sale to execution.
  • Ensure all details, commitments, and expectations are clearly communicated and documented throughout the sales process.

Represent Parker House in the Market
  • Serve as a visible ambassador for the Omni Parker House and its unique position as one of Boston's most iconic hotels.
  • Build visibility and influence through active participation in industry organizations, trade shows, networking events, client events, and community partnerships. (Travel required)
  • Leverage Omni Hotels & Resorts corporate programs and resources to strengthen relationships and drive customer loyalty.
  • Stay current on market trends, competitive activity, customer behavior, and business opportunities that could impact hotel performance.
  • Bring market intelligence and actionable insights back to hotel leadership.

Be a Strategic Partner to the Hotel
  • Participate in sales strategy, forecasting, account reviews, and business planning.
  • Analyze account performance, market trends, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Partner with hotel leadership to develop creative strategies that drive revenue during need periods and maximize peak demand.
  • Manage sales and marketing resources responsibly and contribute to achieving departmental budget goals.
  • Participate in daily and weekly sales strategy discussions regarding occupancy, pace, forecasts, future availability, and business opportunities.
  • Take ownership of special projects and initiatives that support the hotel's overall commercial strategy.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a strategic relationship builder and proven sales professional who is energized by the pursuit of business and motivated by results.

You'll bring:
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive sales or managerial sales experience, preferably within a luxury, upper-upscale, or full-service hotel environment.
  • A proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and revenue goals.
  • Strong understanding of the hospitality sales cycle, including prospecting, account development, negotiation, contracting, and business conversion.
  • Experience developing and executing account plans and identifying opportunities for account growth.
  • Strong business acumen, including the ability to understand financial performance, analyze data, and connect sales strategies to revenue results.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to build credibility and relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from coordinators and meeting planners to senior executives.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A creative and entrepreneurial approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence outcomes without relying solely on direct authority.
  • Confidence representing the hotel in client meetings, industry events, trade shows, and high-profile business settings.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel sales technology; experience with Delphi.fdc, Salesforce, property management systems, and related sales sourcing platforms preferred.
