Full Job Description
Renesas is hiring a Director of Module Manufacturing to lead all aspects of Manufacturing for its rapidly growing Module business within the Performance Core Power group. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for embedding a quality-first mindset across the entire product lifecycle and ensuring delivery of products that meet and exceed customer expectations.
You will define and drive quality standards, processes, and metrics across internal teams and key external partners, including module manufacturers and critical suppliers. This role owns end-to-end quality-leading root-cause analysis, driving swift resolution of issues, and ensuring robust corrective and preventive actions from development through post-launch. You will also negotiate with our customers on the manufacturing and quality specifications to be adopted throughout our manufacturing flows with the objective of ensuring timely and quality delivery of the finished products.
A core priority is advancing a "shift-left" quality approach, embedding rigor early in design and development to prevent issues before they occur. You will also champion structured problem-solving methodologies to enable rapid containment, protect customers, and minimize business impact. This will extend to the development of our products. It will also extend to the key suppliers for our products and manufacturing flows, as well as the ODMs that our customers use as they ramp and test our products in their systems.
Success in this role will be measured by timely introduction of our products, reduced quality incidents, speed and effectiveness of issue resolution, and your ability to influence and elevate quality across a global organization.
This is a highly visible opportunity to work cross-functionally with global teams and shape quality strategy for cutting-edge products serving data center, AI, and computing power markets.
