Director of Memory Care
Willow Towers Assisted Living seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Memory Care to lead our specialized Memory Care Neighborhood. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring exceptional resident care, developing meaningful life enrichment programming, supporting families, and leading a dedicated team committed to providing person-centered care for individuals living with dementia.
Our Memory Care neighborhood is home to 24 residents with a capacity of 30 residents, allowing for individualized care in a close-knit environment. With a 6:1 staffing ratio, our team is equipped to meet the unique needs of a cognitively impaired and physically frail population while maintaining a high standard of care.
The Director of Memory Care will recruit, hire, train, and supervise department staff while overseeing scheduling, staffing, payroll, budgets, and performance evaluations. This position works closely with residents, families, physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members to develop individualized service plans, coordinate meaningful programming and special events, monitor resident well-being, and ensure outstanding communication and quality of care throughout the neighborhood.
This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.). As a key member of the Assisted Living leadership team, the Director is expected to be available after hours and on weekends as needed to support the department.
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree, previous supervisory or management experience, and at least one year of experience in long-term care or assisted living. Prior assisted living and/or memory care leadership experience is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate is a compassionate, organized leader with excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and a passion for enriching the lives of seniors living with memory impairment.
