Position OverviewInfinity Direct is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead the promotion and positioning of the agency within the marketplace. This role is responsible for increasing awareness of Infinity Direct's capabilities, supporting new business opportunities, and establishing the agency as a recognized thought leader in data-driven direct response marketing.
The Director of Marketing will develop and execute marketing programs that showcase the agency's expertise in data analytics, direct mail, and integrated marketing strategy. This individual will serve as a visible representative of the company through industry content, events, digital marketing, and strategic communications.
This role works closely with leadership to translate the agency's strategic capabilities into compelling market-facing messaging that attracts prospective clients and strengthens the company's industry presence.
Key Responsibilities:Brand & Market Positioning- Develop and manage the marketing strategy for Infinity Direct.
- Define and communicate the agency's value proposition and differentiators.
- Ensure consistent messaging across website, sales materials, and external communications.
Thought Leadership & Content- Lead development of thought leadership content including articles, case studies, white papers, and presentations.
- Translate internal expertise (data strategy, direct mail innovation, campaign analytics) into market-facing insights.
- Support leadership in publishing content and speaking opportunities.
Demand Generation- Develop marketing programs with Strategy and Business Development that generate qualified leads and new business opportunities.
- Manage digital marketing initiatives including website optimization, email campaigns, and social media.
- Support Business Development efforts with marketing materials, presentations, and case studies.
Industry Visibility- Identify opportunities for Infinity Direct to participate in conferences, industry events, and publications.
- Coordinate speaking engagements and event participation.
- Build relationships with industry organizations and media outlets.
Marketing Operations- Oversee the agency website, marketing communications, and brand assets.
- Track marketing performance metrics including lead generation, engagement, and brand awareness.
- Manage external marketing vendors or partners as needed.
Qualifications- 8-12+ years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B services, agency, or marketing technology environments.
- Strong experience developing thought leadership and content-driven marketing programs.
- Demonstrated ability to build brand visibility and generate qualified leads.
- Excellent writing, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Experience managing digital marketing channels and marketing campaigns.
Preferred Experience- Experience in marketing services, direct response marketing, or data-driven marketing environments.
- Familiarity with direct mail, analytics, customer segmentation, or marketing performance measurement.
- Experience promoting consulting or agency services.

The key to this role is someone who can extract the intellectual property already inside our company and turn it into market-facing content. Because based on what we've built (segmentation frameworks, geographic friction, modeling approaches, etc.), we actually have a lot of strategic IP. Most agencies never surface that.

ID expects the base salary for this role to be in the range of $75,000 - $110,000, depending on level of education and experience.
