Description

Fermi America is looking for a bold, strategic marketing leader to own everything - brand, content, digital, PR, and campaigns. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build a world-class marketing function at a publicly traded energy and AI company at the center of some of the most consequential infrastructure investments of our generation.

About the role

As Director of Marketing, you will be the architect of Fermi America's external voice. You'll shape how the world understands what we're building - from institutional investors and energy partners to policymakers and the public. This is a rare opportunity to define a brand narrative at the intersection of clean energy and artificial intelligence, with direct influence on Fermi's position in a market that matters.

What you'll own
  • Brand strategy - define and steward Fermi America's identity across all channels, ensuring consistency, clarity, and impact for a dual-listed public company
  • Thought leadership & executive communications - partner with the C-suite to craft compelling narratives that resonate with investors, partners, and industry stakeholders
  • Digital presence - own the website, SEO, social, and digital campaigns that drive awareness and credibility in B2B energy and tech markets
  • Content & campaigns - build a content engine that translates complex energy and AI topics into clear, compelling stories - without losing the substance
  • PR & media relations - manage proactive and reactive communications, build press relationships, and protect and elevate Fermi's public profile
  • Team & agency management - recruit, build, and lead a high-performing marketing team while managing external agencies and partners

Why Fermi America
  • High-visibility, high-impact role at a company operating at the intersection of the energy transition and AI infrastructure buildout
  • Direct access to executive leadership - your work shapes company strategy, not just communications
  • A market and mission that matters - the decisions made here will define energy and technology infrastructure for decades
  • Competitive compensation and benefits commensurate with a dual-listed public company

Requirements

What you bring
  • 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years at the director level - you know how to lead and how to execute
  • B2B marketing background in energy, infrastructure, AI, or technology - you understand complex stakeholder ecosystems and long sales cycles
  • Experience operating within or alongside a publicly traded company (NASDAQ, LSE, or equivalent) - you understand investor relations adjacency, disclosure sensitivity, and institutional-grade communications
  • Proven strength in corporate brand strategy, thought leadership programs, and executive positioning - you've made senior leaders credible voices in their industries
  • The ability to distill genuinely complex technical and policy topics - energy transition, AI infrastructure, power markets - into messaging that moves people
  • Media and PR experience is a meaningful plus - relationships with energy, business, and tech press matter here
  • A builder's mindset - you're energized by green-field environments and are comfortable making decisions without a playbook
