Full Job Description
We're looking for a Director of Marketing who is ready to take ownership of a growing marketing department and play a key role in driving the company's next stage of growth.

This is not a role where you'll simply manage campaigns or oversee a marketing calendar. You will own the marketing function.

You'll be responsible for developing the strategy, leading the team, driving qualified-lead generation, managing the marketing budget, overseeing events, and creating the systems and accountability needed to measure what's working-and improve what isn't.

We're looking for someone who can see the big picture while still being willing to roll up their sleeves and get things done.

What You'll Own
Marketing Strategy & Leadership
  • Own the overall marketing strategy, vision, priorities, and execution.
  • Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing Marketing team.
  • Establish clear goals, expectations, processes, and accountability.
  • Align Marketing strategy with company growth and revenue objectives.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Executive Leadership to create a cohesive growth strategy.
  • Build a culture of ownership, creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Demand Generation & Growth
  • Own the company's monthly qualified-lead target.
  • Develop and execute a multi-channel demand-generation strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to expand, improve, and optimize marketing channels.
  • Continuously test messaging, channels, campaigns, and strategies.
  • Monitor both lead volume and lead quality.
  • Work closely with Sales to define and improve the qualified-lead process.
  • Own the marketing-to-sales funnel and its performance.
  • Track conversion rates and identify opportunities to improve performance throughout the funnel.
  • Turn marketing data into actionable decisions that drive growth.
Budget & ROI
  • Develop and manage the annual Marketing budget.
  • Determine where marketing dollars should be invested based on performance and opportunity.
  • Monitor spending and ensure the department operates within budget.
  • Evaluate initiatives based on qualified-lead generation, pipeline contribution, and ROI.
  • Make data-driven decisions about where to scale, adjust, or eliminate marketing investments.
Events & Experiences
  • Own the strategy and execution of company events.
  • Determine which events to attend, sponsor, host, or pursue based on strategic value and budget.
  • Oversee event planning, promotion, vendors, logistics, and follow-up.
  • Ensure events deliver an exceptional experience for attendees and the team.
  • Attend key events and serve as the marketing leader on-site.
  • Proactively manage executive needs related to events so leadership can focus on relationships and the experience.
  • Measure event success through qualified leads, pipeline contribution, and ROI.
  • Build post-event follow-up strategies that maximize the value of every event.
Marketing Analytics & KPIs
  • Establish and own the Marketing department's core KPIs.
  • Create clear, consistent reporting for Executive Leadership.
  • Track lead generation, funnel performance, channel performance, budget, events, and ROI.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and areas of concern.
  • Use data to determine what should happen next-not just report on what already happened.
  • Hold the Marketing team accountable to measurable outcomes.
  • Continuously optimize strategy based on performance.
What We're Looking For

We're looking for a strategic marketing leader who is equally comfortable building a strategy and executing it.

You are someone who:

  • Thinks strategically but doesn't live exclusively in strategy decks.
  • Takes ownership and follows things through to completion.
  • Is highly data-driven and understands how Marketing connects to revenue.
  • Knows how to build, lead, and develop a team.
  • Is comfortable being accountable to measurable goals.
  • Understands demand generation and the full marketing-to-sales funnel.
  • Can manage a budget and make decisions based on ROI.
  • Enjoys testing, experimenting, learning, and optimizing.
  • Can confidently communicate performance and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Is organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Thrives in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment.
  • Isn't afraid to get into the weeds when the situation calls for it.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressive marketing experience, with demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Experience leading a marketing team or department.
  • Proven experience developing and executing demand-generation strategies.
  • Strong understanding of lead generation, conversion funnels, and marketing analytics.
  • Experience managing a marketing budget and measuring ROI.
  • Experience planning and executing events.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and project-management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to make strategic decisions.
  • Experience partnering with Sales and Executive Leadership.
  • A track record of building systems, improving processes, and delivering measurable results.
Why This Role?

This is an opportunity to build something meaningful and have a direct impact on the growth of a company.

You'll have significant ownership over the Marketing function, the opportunity to shape the team and strategy, and a seat at the table when it comes to the company's growth.

If you're the kind of marketer who wants to own the outcome- not just execute the task- we'd love to hear from you.

Ready to Make an Impact?

If you're an experienced marketing leader who is excited to build, lead, optimize, and grow, we want to meet you.
