Full Job Description
Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Director of Marketing is responsible for translating marketing strategy into flawless execution. This individual serves as the operational leader of the marketing department, ensuring projects move forward with urgency, cross-functional teams remain aligned, and strategic initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest standard of quality.

This role is ideal for a leader who thrives on bringing clarity to complexity, creating momentum, building accountability, and turning great ideas into measurable business results.

The Director of Marketing is more than a functional leader. They are the force that keeps the marketing organization moving.

Drive Marketing Execution
  • Lead the day-to-day execution of the marketing organization.
  • Translate strategic initiatives into detailed project plans with clear ownership, priorities, milestones, and deadlines.
  • Ensure projects move forward proactively, identifying and removing obstacles before they impact delivery.
  • Establish a culture of accountability, urgency, and operational excellence.

Lead Several Marketing Functions

Provide direct leadership and coaching for some of the following functional areas, and general leadership for the entire team:
  • Creative Services
  • Graphic Design
  • Video Production
  • Copywriting
  • Ai Marketing
  • Digital Marketing

Develop talent while fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Manage Cross-Functional Marketing Initiatives

Partner closely with Product, IT, Compliance, Sales, Operations, Communications, and Executive Leadership to ensure seamless execution of enterprise marketing initiatives.

Serve as the central point of coordination for large, cross-functional projects.

Own Marketing Operations
  • Lead weekly marketing planning meetings.
  • Prioritize projects based on business impact.
  • Manage department workflows and resource allocation.
  • Improve marketing processes and operational efficiency.
  • Implement systems that increase speed, visibility, and accountability.
  • Manage agency relationships and external partners as needed.


Champion AI and Innovation

Support the adoption of AI tools and emerging marketing technologies that improve efficiency, creativity, and execution.

Encourage continuous innovation while maintaining operational discipline.

Support Executive Leadership

Partner closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to execute strategic priorities, prepare executive presentations, support board-level initiatives, and ensure organizational alignment across the business.

Education and Experience
