What You Will DoAs Director of Manufacturing Operations, you'll lead the strategy and execution of PRL's manufacturing ecosystem-encompassing procurement, fulfillment, facilities, and production. You'll drive product launches, operational efficiency, and supply chain excellence through a combination of strong leadership, data-informed decision-making, and commitment to quality. Your role is central to PRL's growth, innovation, and delivery of exceptional products to the practitioner channel.
Responsibilities- Lead and develop department heads in procurement, logistics, production, and facility management
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives between R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and CMOs to support timely, cost-effective product launches
- Implement Lean Six Sigma, 5S, and continuous improvement practices across all operational areas
- Design and manage strategic production planning based on forecasts, seasonality, and product cadence
- Oversee supplier, vendor, and contract manufacturer relationships, including performance and contract management
- Manage manufacturing budgets, P&L, COGS optimization, and capital planning
- Drive adoption of ERP systems, automation technologies, and analytics for operational excellence
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, cGMP, FSMA, and other applicable regulatory and safety standards
- Mentor internal teams and promote a values-first culture rooted in integrity, accountability, and collaboration
Who You AreYou're a hands-on, strategic operations leader with deep experience in supplement contract manufacturing. Qualifications- 10+ years in manufacturing and operations, including 5+ years in supplement contract manufacturing
- Experience in the practitioner channel or healthcare professional market strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Operations, or Supply Chain (MBA preferred)
- Lean Six Sigma training (Green or Black Belt preferred)
- Deep knowledge of cGMP, FDA, DSHEA, FSMA regulations, and contract manufacturing KPIs
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional operations and continuous improvement initiatives
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and data analytics tools
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing manufacturing P&L and capital planning
