We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Director of Manufacturing to lead and scale our growing manufacturing operations. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building world-class manufacturing operations.

As Director of Manufacturing, you will oversee day-to-day production across multiple specialized manufacturing facilities while partnering closely with engineering, operations, and executive leadership. You will play a critical role in advancing manufacturing excellence, developing high-performing teams, and supporting the production of cutting-edge technologies for demanding industries.

What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of leadership or management experience within a manufacturing environment
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, systems engineering, or operations within aerospace or another highly regulated industry
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production flow, process optimization, and quality systems
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, engineering documentation, and production plans
  • Proven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and drive operational efficiency
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline required (minimum 3.3 GPA)

What You'll Do
  • Lead all day-to-day manufacturing operations with a focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement
  • Oversee a diverse manufacturing organization of 50+ technicians across five facilities and multiple manufacturing processes, including:
    • Cable and electrical assembly
    • CNC machining
    • Sheet metal fabrication
    • Controlled atmosphere brazing
    • Tube fabrication
    • Injection molding
    • Rotational molding
    • Precision mechanical assembly
  • Drive workflow coordination, production planning, and process management to ensure on-time delivery and operational excellence
  • Partner closely with engineering teams to support new product development, manufacturing scalability, and process improvements
  • Develop, mentor, and grow junior manufacturing, industrial, and process engineers
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous learning
  • Identify opportunities to improve throughput, reduce waste, and enhance manufacturing capability across the organization
