Qualifications

• Associates degree in Engineering required; 3+ years in maintenance supervision.
• Health care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of low-pressure steam boilers, compressors, generators, and alarm systems necessary.
• Familiarity with H.V.A.C., electrical, and plumbing systems required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and directing maintenance department operations.
• Ensure proper maintenance for resident comfort and convenience.
• Manage, train, and evaluate department personnel.
• Review and recommend changes to department policies and job descriptions.
• Regularly inspect facility grounds, equipment, and safety measures.
• Establish an effective preventive maintenance program.
• Prioritize unscheduled maintenance tasks.
