Drive firmwide attorney recruiting strategy and execution at a premier law firm.

Reporting to the Chief Recruiting & Professional Development Officer, the Director of Legal Recruiting will serve as a strategic partner to firm leadership and practice groups, overseeing entry level recruiting, lateral associate hiring, and a highly visible summer associate program. The firm values sound judgment, initiative, and a solutions-oriented approach to complex recruiting needs.

The role in action:
  • Lead law student recruiting, campus outreach, and the summer associate program, with responsibility for strategy, experience, and outcomes.
  • Provide strategic oversight of lateral associate recruiting, partnering closely with practice leaders on hiring needs and workforce planning.
  • Serve as the central point of coordination across recruiting processes, including offer strategy, search firm relationships, and attorney integration.
  • Manage and develop the recruiting team while partnering with Professional Development, DEI, and administrative teams to align recruiting with broader talent initiatives.

We are seeking candidates who:
  • Hold a bachelor's degree and bring 10 plus years of progressive recruiting experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Have led or overseen entry level and lateral attorney recruiting, partnering closely with senior leaders and practice groups.
  • Bring sound judgment and credibility, with a solutions-oriented approach and the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
