Full Job Description
This position is global in scope and may be based anywhere in the world. Given the significant focus on the United States market, candidates must be able to effectively support U.S -based customers, teams and business initiatives. The role includes approximately 30% travel, as outlined in the job requirements.

Salary Range:

The base salary listed is a range. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others). In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a bonus, providing the opportunity to earn additional compensation.

Position Summary

The Director of Zinpro IsoFerm is responsible for the overall global growth and oversite of Zinpro IsoFerm, while being a key contributor to long term Zinpro growth. This position will lead a global team, while working across Zinpro's current go-to-market structure to provide overall direction, new business development, and sales alignment for Zinpro's IsoFerm business. The Director will develop and execute the strategic business plan for the business and will work closely with regional leaders and sales vice presidents to achieve the goals and objectives set out for each market. The Director will have ownership of the overall success of IsoFerm, and will provide strategic direction, aligned with sales and cross functional teammates, to achieve our global IsoFerm goals.

The Director will work closely with Zinpro cross functional teams to establish long and short-term strategies, goals and plans in alignment with corporate direction and objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Drives profitable sales growth through direct customer engagement, strategic business development, and effective leadership of the sales and technical teams, ensuring achievement of organizational goals and market expansion objectives, with a focus on US-based customers.
  • Develops and executes strategic business plans to increase sales for Zinpro IsoFerm in line with enterprise objectives.
  • Coordinates with cross-functional teams-including sales, marketing, product development, customer service, finance, and administration-to ensure effective execution of business activities.
  • Manages IsoFerm's budget, resources, and sales forecasts to achieve business goals, and recommends investments in talent and go-to-market strategies.
  • Aligns team roles and collaborates with sales regions to ensure targets, territory management, and resource plans support IsoFerm's growth.
  • Monitors dairy market trends and engages with teams and customers to identify opportunities for new solutions and business growth.
  • Works cross-functionally to inform research, marketing, product pricing, regulatory, and development plans based on market and customer insights, ensuring product compliance and quality standards are met.
  • Collaborates with marketing to develop marketing campaigns for new products and services.
  • Partners with HR to coordinate employee training, development, staffing and performance evaluations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Minimum Required:

  • Business degree (B. A.) or equivalent in relevant subject required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in a Sr. Manager or strong influencer role, leading customer activities in a region or business unit for an animal feed or related industry's company
  • Experience and passion for the dairy industry.
  • Experience leading new business development initiatives in untapped markets.
  • Experience developing, planning and implementing successful business strategies in the Agriculture, Food and/or nutrition industries.
  • Strong communication skills - sets clear priorities for self and team


Preferred:

  • Master's degree (M.A., M.S., MBA)
  • In-depth understanding of animal nutrition and feed industry, market and business principles.


Work Environment and Physical Requirements

The work environment consists of multiple different environments: standard office, long periods in a motor vehicle, farms, animal producers, manufacturing facilities, and/or at client/customers facilities.

Positions in this class typically require typing, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.

Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Schedule Requirements

This position is expected to work within core business hours and requires participation in after-hours and weekend calls, customer/client events & meetings, and industry events.

Travel Requirements

This position requires an estimated 30% travel, but it may be higher depending on business needs. Required travel is primarily within the USA but will include occasional international travel.
