Business Systems, Data, and Decision Support
  • Lead application strategy (ERP, MES, QMS, CRM) for the business unit, ensuring systems are well-documented, properly licensed, and optimized for production accuracy, traceability, scalability, and throughput.
  • Build and expand BI capabilities - real-time dashboards, KPI reporting, forecasting tools - designed to give BU leadership direct, self-sufficient visibility into performance.
  • In coordination with the broader organization, establish data governance, data quality, and master data management practices that ensure the business unit's data is clean, well-structured, and independently maintainable for the business unit.

Infrastructure, Cybersecurity & Operations
  • Own IT infrastructure for the business unit - networks, cloud services, servers, storage, end-user computing, and communications - with clear documentation of system architecture, dependencies, and ownership.
  • Implement and mature cybersecurity programs aligned with manufacturing risk profiles and semiconductor customer expectations (e.g., NIST, supply-chain security).
  • Establish business continuity and disaster recovery strategies for critical manufacturing systems.
  • Manage IT operations across multiple facilities, ensuring consistent performance and availability.

Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance to understand requirements and design solutions that reduce downtime, increase yield, and improve process control.
  • Enable technology use across all levels, from shop-floor operators to executives, enhancing workforce productivity and information access.
  • Serve as primary liaison between IT and external partners, auditors, integrators, and technology providers.

Vendor & Project Management
  • Lead large-scale IT projects for the business unit including system upgrades, site integrations, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts and relationships at the business unit level, with attention to contract terms, ownership, and service-level accountability.

Education & Experience Requirement:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field required, Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum ten years of experience managing IT operations, including leadership responsibilities.
  • ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or other relevant certifications for IT governance and project management are preferred.
