Job SummaryThe Director of Information Technology provides strategic leadership and operational management for the technology ecosystem of Excel Academy Charter Schools. As a non-classroom-based charter school where students learn through online virtual Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital curricula, technology serves as the primary gateway to education.
This position serves as the primary point of contact for analyzing systems, mitigating cyber threats, and managing I.T infrastructure across the organization. The Director evaluates current infrastructures to recommend continuous improvements, oversees software implementation projects, directs LMS operations, and leads the IT support team to ensure effective workflows, device life-cycle management, and smooth daily operations for staff, students, and families.
