Full Job Description
Director of Information Technology

The Director of Information Technology provides leadership for all agency technology operations, including network infrastructure, cybersecurity, servers, cloud services, telecommunications, hardware, software, business applications, vendor management, technology budgeting, disaster recovery, and strategic technology planning. This position oversees IT projects from concept through implementation, ensures compliance with applicable security and regulatory requirements, manages technology assets and vendor relationships, develops IT policies and procedures, and identifies innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency and service delivery. The Director also supervises IT staff, provides technical leadership and mentoring, collaborates with executive leadership and department directors, supports technology needs across Payroll, Human Resources, Finance, and Operations, and delivers exceptional customer service to employees throughout the organization.

Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible IT leadership experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in cybersecurity, network administration, technology planning, project management, budgeting, vendor negotiations, and team leadership while effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical users. Experience supporting healthcare, nonprofit, Medicaid-funded, or highly regulated environments is preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.

This full-time exempt position reports directly to the Executive Director and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through technology leadership in a mission-driven organization. Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required to address critical technology issues. A valid Colorado driver's license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation when agency vehicles are unavailable, and successful completion of pre-employment screening are required.
