Job Summary :
To develop and assist with the business operations of the physician practices in order to foster positive relationships with physicians, to promote the financial viability and development of these practices through utilization of quality management, and guest relations policies and procedures.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Supports the organization's mission and philosophy, strategic plan and vision.
  • Assists with development, administration, and evaluation of goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
  • Provides support and resources to physician practices, assists in gathering quality management, financial and other operational data.
  • Responsible for all supervisory functions of practice staff including interviews, hiring, orientation/training, evaluations, discipline/termination and staff physician issues.
  • Ensures compliance with regulations and standards of performance of quality care for all persons involved in patient care.
  • Demonstrates commitment to education and sharing of knowledge.
  • Supports leadership and implementation of change to provide quality, cost effective care.
  • Responsible for quality assessment and improvement in physician practices.
  • Oversees risk management issues in physician practices.
  • Actively promotes and sustains a healthcare culture of safety within and between departments.
  • Recognizes and takes positive action to address patient safety priorities as applicable to director's or vice president's area(s) of oversight.

Vocational and Educational Preparation:
