Job Summary

Member of a self-directed management team reporting to the Superintendent. To plan, organize and direct the District's certificated and classified personnel management programs. Administer the recruitment and selection of certificated staff; administer the certificated and classified employee recruitment and selection, employment, transfer, promotion, layoff, and separation processes; to assist with wage and salary administration, to assist in the planning, organization, administration of the employee health and welfare programs; to assist in the planning, organization and conduct of the employer and employee relations process; and to do other related functions as directed.
