Full Job Description
What You'll Do
As our Human Resources Director, you will:
  • Provide strategic HR leadership and partner with executive management.
  • Lead recruiting, onboarding, and employee retention initiatives.
  • Advise managers on employee relations, performance management, coaching, and disciplinary matters.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, leave administration, and performance review programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Lead HR compliance efforts, including I-9 administration, personnel records, and regulatory reporting.
  • Support leadership development, succession planning, and employee engagement.
  • Manage HR staff and foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Safety, and other departments to support a growing aviation organization.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • At least 5 years of HR leadership or management experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
  • Experience handling employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment while maintaining confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification.
  • Experience supporting multi-state operations.
  • Experience in aviation, transportation, manufacturing, oil & gas, or another highly regulated industry.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, compensation administration, and benefits management.
