The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and implementing HR strategies to support strategic organizational goals.
Position DescriptionResponsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and development programs
- Lead employee training, development, and certifications
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and legal compliance
- Lead the development and implementation of compensation and benefits programs
- Ensure HR operations comply with policies and regulations
- Drive initiatives for process improvement, talent management, succession planning, and diversity & inclusion
- Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs
- Manage relationships with various unions
- Maintain affirmative action program; maintain records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations
- Direct various activities designed to promote and maintain a high level of employee morale
- Foster a positive workplace culture and contribute to organizational development
- Coach, develop, and lead HR team
- Maintain employee and workplace privacy
Position RequirementsRequirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or relevant field
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience
- SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations
- Experience with Viewpoint Construction or other HR software
- Proficiency in payroll processes and benefits administration
- Demonstrated success in talent management, performance management, and FMLA administration
- Personal attributes needed to be successful in the role: strong communication both verbal and written, high level of organizational skills and attention to detail, time management, adaptability, and problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization

This position offers a starting rage of $140,000-$170,000 per year with a potential bonus of up to $15,000 depending on experience.
