Job Title: Director of Human Resources Industry:

Investment Management Location (city, state): Dallas, TX

Assignment Type: Direct Hire / Full-Time (100% Onsite)

Pay: Base salary target midpoint of $150,000 (placement based on experience and upward potential) + quarterly bonus

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Description: Seeking a versatile and strategic Director of Human Resources to lead the HR function as a true player-coach. Will work collaborating closely with the executive leadership team, this role requires balancing high-level organizational strategy with hands-on tactical execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, organizational design, and career pathing.
  • Oversee full-lifecycle talent management, employee relations, performance management, and compliance initiatives.
  • Drive learning and development strategies, including building leadership development programs and facilitating coaching.
  • Manage compensation structures, payroll processes, and administrative HR duties alongside strategic oversight.
  • Supervise and mentor internal HR personnel, including an HR Business Partner and an Administrative Assistant.
  • Maintain rigorous documentation practices and oversee vendor relationships.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree strongly preferred (SHRM certification considered a plus).
  • 5 to 7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with a required background in smaller organizations or lean HR teams.
  • Hands-on operational mindset with strong documentation habits and proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and Microsoft Office (including Copilot).
