Director of Housekeeping and Laundry THE TEAM As part of the Rooms Division, this leadership role oversees all Housekeeping and Laundry operations, ensuring exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort throughout the hotel. Reporting to the Director of Rooms, the Director of Housekeeping and Laundry partners closely with Front Office, Engineering, Talent & Culture, and other departments to deliver a seamless and elevated guest experience while maintaining Rosewood's luxury standards. YOUR ROLE As Director of Housekeeping and Laundry, you will lead the strategic and operational direction of all housekeeping functions, including guestrooms, public areas, laundry, valet, and uniforms. You will ensure the highest levels of quality, efficiency, and service excellence across the property, aligned with Rosewood brand standards. You will play a key role in driving guest satisfaction, financial performance, and operational excellence through strong leadership, effective resource management, and a commitment to continuous improvement. This role also focuses on building and developing a high-performing team while fostering a culture of engagement, accountability, and inclusion. HOW YOU'LL MAKE THE PLACE Financial & Strategic Leadership 3 Support the development of departmental budgets and forecasts 3 Monitor labor and expenses to maximize efficiency and profitability 3 Identify opportunities for operational improvement and cost control Operational Excellence 3 Oversee housekeeping, public areas, laundry, valet, and uniform operations 3 Ensure adherence to Forbes, LQA, and Rosewood brand standards 3 Maintain inventory, linen par levels, and OS&E Guest Experience 3 Drive service excellence and guest satisfaction initiatives 3 Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally 3 Ensure luxury presentation standards across all areas Team & Culture 3 Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team 3 Foster engagement, recognition, and accountability 3 Support recruitment, training, and succession planning Compliance & Safety 3 Ensure OSHA, safety, and chemical handling compliance 3 Maintain cleanliness and workplace safety standards COULD THIS BE YOU? 3 Proven leadership experience in luxury housekeeping operations 3 Strong financial and operational acumen 3 Excellent communication and leadership skills 3 High attention to detail and guest-centric mindset 3 Fluency in English and Spanish preferred The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $123,000 annually. This is the pay range for this position that the company reasonably expects to pay. This position also may be eligible for bonuses. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on several factors, such as experience, type of experience, location, and education.
