SummaryOversees the delivery of health services to the campus community
Essential Job Functions- Manages the daily operations for the delivery of health services
- Administers routine and emergency health care services to students
- Oversees the delivery of physician and/or other medical provider services
- Establishes and/or revises administrative, clinical and operational policies, procedures and protocols to comply with health regulations and to address students' routine and emergency health care needs
- Maintains a secure system of confidential medical records in accordance with applicable standards of practice, state and federal laws and HIPPA guidelines
- Manages the inventory of medical supplies, equipment and medications, including appropriate procurement, storage, security and maintenance
- Prepares and monitors the departmental budget
- Supervises and develops the department staff, facilitating professional opportunities to improve individual capability and managing performance against job accountabilities, department goals and established university, campus and department policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications- Minimum of a master's degree
- Moderate amount of experience working in nursing, clinical, health services management or other related experience
- Nurse practitioner's license
