Full Job Description
Director of Health & Wellness to lead our clinical team and champion exceptional resident care.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is passionate about senior living, confident in clinical decision-making, and energized by developing people. You'll oversee the community's health and wellness operations while partnering with residents, families, physicians, and leadership to ensure every resident receives safe, personalized, high-quality care.

This Role Is For You If You Have:
  • 2+ years of clinical leadership or supervisory experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, long-term care, or a similar setting.
  • Current LPN or Med Tech certification as required by the state.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Strong experience leading, coaching, scheduling, and developing nursing and care teams.
  • Confidence managing clinical situations, change in condition, and resident health needs.
  • A passion for resident-centered care, regulatory compliance, and quality outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with residents, families, physicians, and team members.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and oversee the community's daily clinical operations.
  • Assess new and existing residents, including changes in condition, and ensure appropriate care plans are developed and maintained.
  • Oversee medication management, MARs, physician orders, controlled substances, and clinical documentation.
  • Ensure residents receive appropriate wellness checks, follow-up, referrals, and clinical interventions.
  • Lead the admissions process from a clinical perspective and ensure residents' needs can be safely supported by the community.
  • Hire, train, coach, schedule, and develop nursing, medication, and care staff.
  • Provide ongoing clinical education, competency training, and performance feedback to the care team.
  • Monitor staffing levels and ensure appropriate coverage to meet resident needs.
  • Maintain strong communication with residents, families, physicians, pharmacies, hospitals, and other healthcare partners.
  • Lead quality improvement, clinical audits, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, state licensing requirements, and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure timely, complete documentation.
  • Respond to clinical emergencies and provide guidance to staff during urgent situations.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and provide leadership support as assigned.
  • Partner with the Executive Director and leadership team to continuously improve the resident experience and quality of care.
