Position Summary

This position reports to Vice President of IT/OT and Supply Chain.

The Director of Global Supply Chain will lead a team of professionals and direct all aspects of supply chain including procurement, vendor selection and relations, supplier quality, supply planning, & inventory management. This position will develop and implement sustainable supply chain strategies and processes to ensure efficient operations and minimize supply chain risk within financial targets.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Direct/Manage/Supervise all aspects of the organization's supply chain management and operations including procurement, vendor relations, supplier quality, supply planning, and new product development procurement.
  • Develop and execute global category strategies for high-spend and technically complex commodities that support cost, quality, innovation, capacity, and supply continuity objectives.
  • Assists executives and/or senior directors in defining organizational goals and strategic plans.
  • Lead the digital transformation of Banner's supply chain through automation, analytics, AI, ERP optimization and data-driven decision making.
  • Develop functional strategies, objectives, budgets, policies, and procedures that support Banner's global supply chain objectives.
  • Serve as the functional leader for Global Supply Chain, providing strategic direction and governance across sourcing, planning, supplier quality and inventory management.
  • Define, design, develop and implement a sourcing strategy that will deliver productivity year-over-year; Ensure alignment of category strategies to business requirements and objectives.
  • Report on supplier and commodity market analysis by monitoring trends.
  • Responsible for overall continuity of supply and active risk mitigation, including geopolitical risk, tariffs, natural disasters, supplier financial health, and business continuity.
  • Define and regularly communicate the commodity strategy.
  • Ensure that all procurement is in compliance with all applicable regulations and laws related to procurement practices and in accordance with standard practices.
  • Evaluate current and new suppliers to develop and improve service levels in search of continuous improvements regarding total cost and efficiency.
  • Focus on key and strategic suppliers to improve supplier performance, reduce cost and receive consistent quality products and/ or services.
  • Researches best practices across a variety of industries and disciplines and translates into relevant actions for improvements.
  • Participate and/or lead cross-functional teams related to quality, price, inventories and availability of materials.
  • Conduct supplier contract negotiation, supplier selection and contract lifecycle management.
  • Develop executive relationships with strategic suppliers and lead supplier business reviews focused on quality, innovation, capacity, delivery, and long-term strategic alignment.
  • Support make versus buy decisions.

Required

  • BS/BA required in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 10+ years of supply chain experience in electronics or manufacturing
  • Strong demonstrated track-record in supplier management
  • Clear indication of strategic decision-making that drives results
  • Demonstrated thought leader on enterprise-level business
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence and drive alignment among stakeholders across all levels and functions
  • Oracle EBS experience and APICS certifications a plus


Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Communicates and reviews job performance expectations of direct reports
  • Ensures direct reports are compliant with Banner Engineering policies and procedures and delivers coaching and disciplinary action as required
  • Provides guidance and strong leadership to the supply chain team
  • Responsible for development of the supply chain team through mentoring and coaching of staff

Base Pay Range: $146,829.00 - $212,616.00

The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
