We are seeking a Director of Finance to join our manufacturing leadership team. This role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, or senior finance professional who is ready to expand their responsibilities and grow into a higher-level financial leadership position.

While manufacturing experience is required, we are willing to invest in and mentor the right candidate who demonstrates strong financial and accounting expertise, leadership potential, business acumen, and the desire to advance their career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all accounting and financial reporting functions

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Manufacturing accounting and finance experience required
  • Background as a Controller, Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, Senior Accountant, or similar role
  • Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and cost accounting experience
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to influence business decisions
  • CPA or CMA is a plus, but not required
  • Desire and capability to grow into a broader leadership role
  • 5-8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, preferably in manufacturing

Technical Skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Experience with ERP systems (LX preferred; CST, GLD, ACP, SFC, INV, PUR, API, SYS modules)
  • Proficiency with financial reporting tools (Query, F9, LX Report Writer)
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting practices
  • Experience with IFS and ADP/Workforce Now preferred
  • FoxPro and FAS experience a plus

  • Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights
  • Proven track record of driving process improvement and operational efficiency
