Key Responsibilities- Lead all accounting and financial reporting functions
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, and operational performance
- Develop financial strategies that support company objectives
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal controls
- Partner with operations, manufacturing, and executive leadership to drive business results
- Lead and develop the accounting and finance team
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Manufacturing accounting and finance experience required
- Background as a Controller, Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, Senior Accountant, or similar role
- Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and cost accounting experience
- Proven leadership skills and ability to influence business decisions
- CPA or CMA is a plus, but not required
- Desire and capability to grow into a broader leadership role
- 5-8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, preferably in manufacturing
Technical Skills- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- Experience with ERP systems (LX preferred; CST, GLD, ACP, SFC, INV, PUR, API, SYS modules)
- Proficiency with financial reporting tools (Query, F9, LX Report Writer)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting practices
- Experience with IFS and ADP/Workforce Now preferred
- FoxPro and FAS experience a plus
