Position Summary:

The Director of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities within an organization, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis. Additionally, they are responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies, managing financial risks, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of corporate finance and accounting principles. You will be reporting to Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Financial Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve company goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Budget Management: Management of budgets, ensuring they align with company objectives and financial goals.
  • Compliance and Controls: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders, including the executive team, board of directors, and investors.
  • Other duties as assigned.
