Director of Finance
Location: New York, NY

About the Role
We are seeking a Director of Finance (Controlling) to lead and professionalize our financial operations and infrastructure. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented finance leader who thrives in high-growth environments and wants to make a tangible impact from day one.

This role offers a clear pathway to grow into the Chief Financial Officer position as the company scales.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the finance function. Serve as a strategic finance partner to department leads-helping them plan, monitor, and refine budgets and performance metrics.
  • Forecasting & Modeling: Own financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning. Reconcile budgets and forecasts with actual performance, and provide insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Cash Flow & Budget Management: Manage accounts payable and collaborate closely with the revenue cycle manager on accounts receivable. Set up and oversee internal pricing workflows and departmental budgets.
  • KPI & Reporting Infrastructure: Build and manage the organization's reporting systems for both financial and operational KPIs, as well as investor reporting.
  • Performance Management: Monitor performance against KPIs, hold team leaders accountable, and partner with them to address and resolve underperformance. Translate financial data into actionable insights, identifying trends and risks that impact growth, margins, and sustainability.
  • PC Infrastructure & Tax Management: Oversee the financial and operational infrastructure of the PCs, including corporate governance and tax compliance across jurisdictions.
  • Oversee Accounting & Bookkeeping: Manage and oversee the end-to-end accounting and financial recordkeeping for Isaac Health's Management Services Organization (MSO) and affiliated Professional Corporations (PCs).

Qualifications
