Job SummaryWe are seeking a strategic and hands-on
Finance Director to lead financial operations for our Energy & Communications businesses within National Solutions.
This is a high-impact leadership role that partners directly with business presidents and senior leaders to
drive performance, enable growth, and deliver actionable insights. You will play a critical role in shaping strategy, improving operational efficiency, and building a strong, collaborative finance team.
Job LocationThis is an onsite role based at our Corporate Office in Atlanta, GA.
Job ResponsibilitiesDrive Business Performance- Own full financial accountability for P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
- Partner with senior leadership to influence decisions and deliver profitable growth
- Identify risks and opportunities, and lead actions to improve results
Lead Financial Planning & Analysis- Collaborate with the National Solutions FP&A team to ensure forecasts, budgets, and monthly business reviews are completed accurately and on time
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to track performance and inform decision-making
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
Enhance Operational Efficiency- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability
- Drive margin improvement through pricing, cost management, and productivity initiatives
- Leverage systems and tools to strengthen financial processes
Ensure Strong Governance- Maintain compliance with financial policies, controls, and reporting requirements
- Support audit activities and ensure accuracy and transparency in reporting
Support Growth Initiatives- Lead financial oversight of capital investments and track project performance
- Support M&A activities including due diligence and integration
- Provide financial analysis and business cases for strategic initiatives
Build and Develop Talent- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Partner across functions to support business success
Job Requirements- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in a public company and manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to develop and mentor talent
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to convert data into meaningful, executive-level insights
- Proven communicator with the ability to simplify complex topics and influence decision-making
- Demonstrated success driving process improvement and operational efficiencies
- Experience with ERP and reporting systems (e.g., SAP, HFM)
- M&A experience preferred
- Strong collaborator with the ability to build relationships across functions and levels
