QUALIFICATIONSREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driver's license, with acceptable driving record
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Business or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and progressive industry experience
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in feed manufacturing, animal nutrition or agribusiness operations, with direct P&L responsibility
- Proven Hands-on experience delivering excellent customer service in a sales and operations environment
- Strong Knowledge of agricultural technology tools (e.g., feed formulation software, inventory management systems, CRM platforms)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and present effectively at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time, respond promptly to inquiries and drive results in a fast-paced environment
- Strong business acumen, analytical problem-solving skills and continuous improvement mindset
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced degree or professional certifications in animal nutrition, feed manufacturing or agribusiness management
- Experience managing feed mill operations, including production efficiencies, quality control and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic marketing plans, pricing strategies and incentive programs
- High-level customer relationship management skills with a proven track record of building loyalty with growers and key accounts
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other divisions (Energy, Fleet, Agronomy, etc.) to identify synergies, support integrated solutions for customers, and contribute to overall cooperative growth
- Provide regular performance reporting, forecasting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
- Abide by all safety regulations to ensure safety of oneself, coworkers and customers
- Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking and referrals
- Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMANDS- Frequently required to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
- Frequently required to lift heavy objects no more than 50 pounds
- Occasional climbing, bending, stooping and working in confined spaces as needed for mill and facility oversight
- Ability to travel regularly for farm calls, customer visits, industry events, and operational reviews
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed
- Willingness to work various weather elements including cold, heat, wind, rain, etc.
- Exposure to typical feed mill, warehouses and agricultural environments, including dust, noise and machinvery
