Full Job Description
MSAD #60 is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking leader to serve as our next Director of Facilities & Operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic professional who can effectively oversee the district's facilities, grounds, maintenance, custodial, and operational services while leading long-range planning to ensure our schools remain safe, efficient, and prepared for the future. The successful candidate will provide leadership for facility operations across multiple schools, supervise facilities and custodial staff, manage capital improvement projects, oversee maintenance and operational budgets, ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, and collaborate with district leadership on long-term facilities planning, organizational efficiency, and infrastructure improvements. We are looking for a leader who: Has extensive experience managing school or large-scale facilities and operations. Thinks strategically and plans beyond day-to-day maintenance needs. Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, technology, and project management skills. Has experience with capital planning, budgeting, and facilities improvement projects. Is committed to providing safe, welcoming, and well-maintained learning environments for students and staff. Qualifications: Demonstrated leadership experience in facilities, operations, construction management, engineering, business administration, or a related field. A bachelor's or master's degree in a related discipline is preferred. Experience in public education or another complex, multi-facility organization is a plus.
