Job Description

We are seeking a Director of Enterprise Data & Analytics Strategy - a senior, business-facing executive who will define how a billion-dollar professional services firm competes on data. This is not a build-and-maintain role; it is a mandate to set the enterprise data vision, modernize the firm's analytics foundation onto Microsoft Fabric, and translate that transformation directly into firm strategy, profitability, and client value. The ideal candidate is a strategic operator who has personally led a Microsoft Fabric modernization at enterprise scale - someone equally comfortable in the boardroom shaping strategy with executive leadership and in the architecture room ensuring that strategy is technically sound and gets delivered.

Data and analytics are foundational to EisnerAmper's growth, profitability, and client service strategy. This role will report into and partner directly with executive leadership to reimagine how the firm uses enterprise data as a competitive asset - modernizing legacy platforms, establishing firm-wide data standards, and building the organizational capability to sustain that transformation long after initial rollout.

What Work You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Own the enterprise data and analytics strategy end-to-end - setting the multi-year vision, roadmap, and operating model in direct partnership with the C-suite, Finance, and Operations, and translating that vision into a business case leadership can act on.
  • Serve as the firm's senior authority on Microsoft Fabric, leading the strategic modernization of legacy platforms to a Fabric-based Lakehouse architecture and setting the enterprise standard for how the firm builds, governs, and scales data going forward.
  • Shape the firm's Azure and Microsoft ecosystem strategy, making platform and investment decisions that balance performance, cost, and long-term scalability - building on the firm's existing Fabric platform investment while evolving its architecture to meet growth and analytics ambitions.
  • Establishing a single, firm-wide set of financial and professional services KPIs and an executive analytics experience that changes how leadership makes decisions, not just how it reports.
  • Set the firm's data governance and risk posture, establishing the standards, controls, and accountability model for data quality, security, and compliance (SOX, GDPR, and audit) that a firm of this scale requires.
  • Lead the enterprise-wide consolidation of structured and unstructured data into a single, trusted platform - the foundational asset that every future analytics and AI initiative at the firm will build on.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing data organization, hiring and mentoring the technical talent needed to execute the strategy while personally staying accountable for outcomes at the executive level.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 18+ years of experience in enterprise data and analytics leadership, including having personally set and led an enterprise-level data strategy (not solely execution) at a large or complex organization.
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role (Director/VP or above) within financial or professional services, with a track record of influencing C-suite decisions on data investment and strategy. With demonstrating, hands-on strategic leadership of a Microsoft Fabric adoption or modernization - this is a requirement, not a preference.

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
  • Deep, current expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data Factory/Synapse, and ADLS, with the credibility to speak to both strategic direction and technical tradeoffs.
  • Strong background in Lakehouse architecture, enterprise data governance, and dimensional modeling at scale.
  • Proven executive communication and influence skills - experience presenting to and shaping decisions with boards, partners, or C-suite leadership.
  • Experience building a data organization from the ground up, including hiring and developing senior technical leaders.

Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for this position now or in the future.

About our Technology Team:

Technology is enhancing the ways we operate at every level of the firm, and the EisnerAmper Technology team is the driving force for that. Unlike your average IT team, you won't find us simply administering technology, but serving as strategic advocates to deliver solutions that bring measurable, positive change for all our clients.

Because we pivot fast and always embrace new perspectives, we're creating a culture of technology across every department based on value and a true understanding of the business. By serving as partners to leaders throughout the organization, rather than as a resource, our Technology employees are accountable to each other and themselves to create a tangible impact based on results.

The way we see it, there is always something new we can start, stop doing, or reimagine. With this mentality, we don't let perfection get in the way of innovation. If you have a theory, you'll have the autonomy to innovate, iterate, and collaborate to see it through. Because to us, there are no bad ideas-only avenues for us to grow as a team and individuals.
