SUMMARY OF POSITIONThe Assistant Director of Enrollment Marketing is a dynamic, collaborative role responsible for developing and executing marketing and communication strategies that support student recruitment and enrollment goals at the University of St. Thomas. Working at the intersection of Marketing & Communications and Enrollment Management, this position helps tell the UST story to prospective students and their families through compelling, mission-aligned content and campaigns across multiple channels.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEssential Functions
Enrollment Marketing Strategy
- Collaborate with MarCom and Enrollment Management leadership to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that support recruitment and enrollment goals.
- Identify target audiences and develop messaging that resonates with prospective students, families, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure all enrollment marketing efforts align with UST's Catholic mission, brand identity, and strategic priorities.
Campaign Management and Execution
- Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel enrollment marketing campaigns across digital, print, social media, email, and events.
- Create original content and manage projects with a collaborative team to develop brochures, web pages, email communications, videos, and social media that effectively communicate UST's unique value proposition.
- Monitor campaign performance using data and analytics, and use insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
Content and Brand Stewardship
- Ensure all enrollment marketing materials are consistent with UST's brand guidelines and reflect the university's Catholic, liberal arts identity and brand narrative.
- Partner with the MarCom team to maintain a cohesive and authentic narrative across all recruitment touchpoints.
- Champion the UST brand in all enrollment communications, ensuring messaging is accurate, compelling, and mission-aligned.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary MarCom liaison to the Enrollment Management division, fostering a strong, productive working relationship.
- Work with academic departments to develop program-specific marketing materials that support recruitment for individual schools, programs, and initiatives.
- Coordinate with external vendors as needed to support campaign execution and production.
Project and Budget Management
- Manage enrollment marketing projects from concept through completion, ensuring work is delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Track project status and communicate progress to leadership regularly.
- Assist in managing the enrollment marketing budget and vendor relationships.

QUALIFICATIONSRequired Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in marketing or communications, preferably in higher education or a mission-driven organization.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling content for diverse audiences.
- Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, email, print, and social media.
- Familiarity with marketing and analytics tools, CRM systems, and web content management platforms.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Collaborative, team-oriented work style with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Alignment with and appreciation for the Catholic, liberal arts mission of the University of St. Thomas.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in higher education enrollment marketing or admissions communications.
- Familiarity with Slate CRM or similar enrollment management platforms.
- Experience working with writers, web developers, photographers, graphic designers, videographers, and other creative team members.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support recruitment events and campaign deadlines.
- Some travel may be required for conferences or professional development.
- On-campus event support as needed.
