What you'll do:- Provide employees with the equipment, resources and training needed to implement changes effectively and efficiently to ensure quality.
- Ensure trust and engage employees in the problem-solving process by actively listening to improvement ideas and the development of solutions.
- Proactively address new ideas, technologies, standards and processes to meet constantly evolving customer requirements.
- Guide expenditures to stay within budgets while meeting major growth objectives.
- Monitor, measure and report on operational, engineering, quality, process and product issues, opportunities, development plans and achievements.
- Keep current on new technology in order to continue to obtain maximum results and ROI.
- Lead the Engineer's support of the Manufacturing teams, tools and processes to cooperatively meet our quality and productivity goals.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
RequirementsWhat you'll need:• Strong Customer Service Orientation.
• Direct, hands on engineering background with LEAN and/or Six Sigma experience
• Proven leadership skills to drive strategy, develop process and people and improve results.
• Proven project management skills to drive to successful completion and eliminate waste.
• Experience in Test Engineering a plus.
• Good verbal and written communication skills (ability to read, write and communicate English)
Education and/or Experience:• BS or BA degree.
• Experience managing in an Electronic Manufacturing environment.
• Strong PCBA experience.
• Experience in a regulated environment including ISO, Aerospace or medical devices.
